As the sun rose on January 8th, 2024, I stood at the beginning of a journey that would take me through 17 countries in just one year. It was a dream I had nurtured for years, a desire to explore the world, immerse myself in diverse cultures, and create memories that would last a lifetime. Each destination promised new adventures, culinary delights, and unforgettable encounters. I had no idea I would be going to so many places in such a short amount of time, consecutively, and ALONE. I bought one-way tickets to each of these countries, living my life one week at a time. I’ll be sharing more in-depth details about each of these places. For now, here’s a glimpse into my whirlwind tour of the world, starting from Turkey and ending in the United States.
